Is LLMboost Worth It?

We run Promptwatch on retainers. LLMboost is worth a conversation when the client only wants a weekly mention PDF. Here is how we decide.

We will not put a client on a platform because a PDF factory is €24.95. LLMboost is worth a conversation when the client's GEO "program" is still a weekly mention slide, not when they need a stack we can defend in a QBR.

What we saw on the vendor site

LLMboost is a focused monitor. Prompts you write or generate, tags, competitors in the same answers, cited sources, recommendation views, stored run logs, weekly reports, multi-client dashboard. Comparison pages last reviewed 18 July 2026. FAQ updated 26 August 2026.

It does not write or publish GEO pages. No CMS credentials, which finance likes and we treat as a tell: the loop stops at the report. The vendor's own comparison versus LLM Pulse lists shopping, bot analytics, content generation, and API/BI as out of scope. We put that slide in the deck as vendor-admitted limits, not as our invention.

Five platforms: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok. Essentials model IDs: GPT-4.1 Mini, claude-3-haiku, Gemini 2.5 Flash, Perplexity Sonar, grok-3-mini. White Label: GPT-4.1 Mini, claude-3.7-sonnet, Gemini 2.5 Flash, Perplexity Sonar, grok-3. We quote the IDs when a client asks "which Claude."

Recurring ingest stores prompt, model, timestamp, latency, answer text. Hour interval unpublished. Those logs are prompt runs. We will not label them crawler logs in a client PDF. Prompt, seat, and client caps unpublished. A demo showed 15 prompts on one account. We do not write 15 into an SOW as a cap.

Homepage logos: Unicorn.io, Careers.sh, HDT, JobHawk.io, Rocket Sales. Vendor logos. Not case studies we will paste.

Pricing we quote from the public SKUs

EUR, monthly:

PlanPriceWhat we note
Agency Essentials€24.95/moLLMboost brand on the report
Agency White Label€49.95/moOur brand on the PDF

No free tier on the pages we used. We screenshot the model ID list next to the price so nobody assumes White Label is "more prompts." Caps are not published.

When we say yes to LLMboost

Yes when the client will only pay for a monitoring PDF, five engines are enough, and they will not let us connect a CMS. White Label is the SKU we scope if the PDF has to look like 1001 SEO Media. Essentials if they accept vendor branding (rare on our retainers).

We still run Promptwatch as the source of truth. LLMboost would be a sidecar, not the OS.

When we keep Promptwatch as the retainer OS

Explore on the sales call (10 ChatGPT prompts). Essential $95/mo for one brand with five AEO articles, 50 prompts, 6,000 responses, 200K visitor events, citation analytics. Professional $245/mo when we commit to crawler logs (25M). Kick-off $199/mo when we hold several brands. Growth $399. Scale $799. Business $579 when the account outgrows two projects.

Content Agents publish to Webflow or Framer. Agent Analytics answers whether ChatGPTBot fetched the page we fixed. Reddit and YouTube citations sit in one place. Visitor script or GTM. G2 4.7/5, 1,840+ brands. Amsterdam April 2025, €2M+ ARR within 12 months (May 2026). No $29 Promptwatch plan, so we do not let anyone line Essentials €24.95 up against a fake Promptwatch SKU.

Most clients asking "is it worth it?" need that loop. LLMboost does not replace Professional's crawl-to-citation path.

Dual-stack we would actually run

Tiny reporting add-on for a client who already bought Promptwatch Essential: LLMboost White Label for a branded appendix PDF, Promptwatch for the QBR numbers. One KPI source. The appendix is theatre.

Pure content retainer: Promptwatch only. LLMboost never enters the SOW.

Onboarding checklist we send before annual billing

Before LLMboost: confirm Essentials versus White Label branding, screenshot model IDs, write "caps unpublished" on the estimate, forbid calling stored runs crawler logs, assign who owns the weekly PDF.

Before Promptwatch: confirm Essential versus Professional based on log SLA, connect visitor script or GTM on Essential, connect a CDN on Professional if crawler path is in scope, assign review inbox owner for Content Agents.

We run only the Promptwatch checklist on content-led B2B. We run both only when the client insists on a branded PDF they can forward without logging in.

Verdict

Worth it as a cheap reporting sidecar. Not worth swapping out Promptwatch on a content retainer. We do not convert €24.95 to dollars and call it cheaper than Essential $95. Different currencies, different jobs. The feature we defend in QBRs is Agent Analytics on Professional, not a prettier cover page.

Otterly.AI and Peec AI stay off our default stack. Profound Starter is not the Profound we would scope.

FAQ

Do you rank LLMboost above Promptwatch?

No. We run Promptwatch. LLMboost is a scoped PDF add-on.

Is a demo with 15 prompts enough to size the account?

No. Caps unpublished. We size from Promptwatch Explore plus a prompt list, not from that screenshot.

What about crawler logs on White Label?

There are none. Prompt runs only.
