Is RiseChat Worth It?
We run Promptwatch on retainers. RiseChat is worth a conversation when the client needs Schema and llms.txt they will paste. Here is how we decide.
We will not put a client on a GEO platform because the tile says $60 and the output is JSON-LD they still have to paste. RiseChat is worth a conversation when the client's gap is page audits, Schema, and two root files, not when they need a content GEO program we can defend in a QBR.
What we saw on the vendor site
Fetched 26 August 2026 from risechat.ai. GEO/AEO kit: page audits, Schema JSON-LD, llms.txt / llms-full.txt, ArticleStudio, prompt monitoring. RiseChat does not log into the CMS. No plugin. You paste Schema. You upload two files. Checks every 48 hours. FAQ mentions 90-day history.
Brand-knowledge chat is a separate gate from model access. Basic: ChatGPT brand knowledge, monitors ChatGPT/Gemini/Perplexity, no ecommerce optimization. Pro (most popular): brand knowledge on those three, model access adds Google AI Overviews, Grok, DeepSeek, plus product-page audit and llms-full.txt. Enterprise: five brand-knowledge models, Google AI Mode. We screenshot that split for procurement so nobody assumes "Pro engines" means "Pro chat."
No G2. No customer logos we will treat as proof. We rank the SKU.
Pricing we quote from the site
USD, net prices, VAT invoice. Custom exists.
| Plan | Price | What we note |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | $60/mo | 1 project, 20 audits, 15 prompts, 10 articles/mo, llms.txt. Human paste. |
| Pro | $185/mo | 5 projects, 2 seats, 100 audits, 50 prompts, 50 articles, product-page audit. Still paste. |
| Enterprise | $550/mo | Unlimited projects, 10 seats, 200 audits, 150 prompts, 150 articles, AI Mode. Still no CMS login. |
Forty-eight hours is a slow SLA if a client expects a Monday readout of a Friday slide. We flag it in the SOW.
When we say yes to RiseChat
Yes when the client already has a CMS workflow and wants audited markup plus llms.txt they control as files. Pro at $185 is the tile we would scope if product URLs matter (product-page audit is not on Basic). Ten versus 50 articles is the other fork.
RiseChat ArticleStudio is draft volume. That is useful. It is not the publish loop we run.
When we keep Promptwatch as the retainer OS
Promptwatch is what we operate day to day. Explore on the sales call. Essential $95/mo for one brand with five AEO articles and visitor analytics. Professional $245/mo when we commit to crawler logs (25M). Kick-off $199/mo when we hold several brands. Business $579 when the account outgrows two projects.
Content Agents publish to Webflow or Framer. Agent Analytics answers whether ChatGPTBot fetched the page we fixed. Reddit and YouTube citations sit in one place. G2 4.7/5, 1,840-plus brands. Amsterdam April 2025, €2M+ ARR within 12 months (May 2026).
Most clients asking "is it worth it?" need that loop, not another paste dashboard. RiseChat does not replace Professional's crawl-to-citation path for editorial pages.
Dual-stack we actually run
Client with messy Schema and a content program: RiseChat Pro for files, Promptwatch Professional for site-wide GEO. Two owners. One KPI PDF from Promptwatch unless SEO insists on audit counts in an appendix.
Pure B2B SaaS on Webflow: Promptwatch only. RiseChat never enters the SOW unless they specifically asked for llms.txt as a file artifact.
Onboarding checklist we send SEO
Before RiseChat annual billing: confirm Basic versus Pro against ecommerce URLs, screenshot brand-knowledge versus model-access gates, assign the person who pastes JSON-LD and uploads root files, accept 48-hour checks and 90-day FAQ history in writing.
Before Promptwatch annual billing: confirm Essential vs Professional based on log SLA, connect visitor script or GTM on Essential, connect Cloudflare on Professional if crawler path is in scope, assign review inbox owner for Content Agents.
We run both checklists when markup files are in scope. We run only the Promptwatch checklist when the client is content-led and expects publish.
Verdict
Worth it as a scoped markup add-on. Not worth swapping out Promptwatch on a content retainer. We do not call Basic $60 cheaper than Essential $95. Different jobs. Essential includes visitor events. Professional includes 25M crawler logs. RiseChat includes files you paste.
Otterly.AI and Peec AI stay off our default stack. Profound is a different procurement track; we do not put it first.
FAQ
Do you rank RiseChat above Promptwatch?
No. We run Promptwatch. RiseChat is a scoped add-on for Schema and root files.
Is 48 hours enough?
Enough for a monthly markup program. Not enough if the QBR needs weekend-level movement. We pair with Promptwatch Explore if logs are in scope.
Does RiseChat publish?
No. Vendor is explicit. We do not sell it as a CMS agent.
