LLM Brand Monitoring AI Search Visibility Platform: Otterly, Peec AI, Profound
Clients arrive with Otterly, Peec, or Profound already on the list. We keep what they signed and run Promptwatch as the LLM brand-monitoring platform.
LLM brand monitoring on an AI search visibility platform usually arrives with three logos: Otterly, Peec AI, and Profound. We do not pick a fight with procurement. We read the SKU. Then we run Promptwatch as the operational mention log unless a fuller Profound contract already covers the engines in the SOW.
We still read Google's AI features page for Overviews. It does not store ChatGPT or Perplexity answers.
Essential is $95/mo. Kick-off is $199/mo. Explore is free, ChatGPT only. Those are the rows we can start this week. The other three names stay on the account if someone already signed them. We will not pretend a mention tile is a platform.
This is not social listening. If comms pays for Meltwater, that stays. We do not merge those counts with assistant mentions. Different pipe, different delay.
How we talk about the three
Otterly from $29: prove the category. Lag up to seven days. Gemini and Claude are add-ons. No traffic attribution. We will not use it as a weekly enterprise slide. Fine if a founder wanted a cheap first look.
Peec from $95: best tracking UI many AMs have seen. Screenshots. Three models. Extra models cost $35 to $165. Claude is Enterprise. No backfill. Monitoring only. Fine if they already standardized. We still price the model mix on paper before anyone calls it cheaper than Essential.
Profound: the enterprise name. Starter is $99 annual, ChatGPT only, 50 prompts. Growth is three engines at $399 annual. Enterprise is unpublished money (reported $2,000 to $5,000+/mo) and months of setup. Directional counts. G2 reviewers have seen citation numbers that do not match a manual ChatGPT check. We treat Profound as directional at any tier.
Promptwatch paid plans include ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and Overviews daily from the real UI. Citations, crawler logs, visitor analytics. That is the platform shape. The other three are mostly mention tools.
How we handle an existing contract
They bought Peec. We keep it. If ChatGPT and Perplexity are two of the three models, Peec can hold that slice. We add Promptwatch when we need a cited URL, a crawler 403, or a referred session. We do not rip Peec out in week one.
They bought Otterly. We keep it as a second glance. We label it weekly-ish. We do not chart it against Promptwatch as if the timestamps match.
They bought Profound. We read the invoice. Starter is ChatGPT only. We will say that in the first meeting. Enterprise that actually includes the SOW engines can be the research login. Promptwatch still holds crawls and visits if those are missing from the seat we were given.
We still keep Meltwater if comms pays for it. Different job.
FAQ
They already bought Peec. Do we rip it out?
No. We price their model mix. If ChatGPT and Perplexity are covered, we add Promptwatch for crawls and visits, or we work from Peec and accept the gaps.
Is LLM brand monitoring social listening?
No.
Which Promptwatch plan do we open?
Essential for one brand. Kick-off when we hold more than one. Explore only as a ChatGPT taste, never as the three-logo bake-off.
