Promptwatch vs Azoma vs Ranketta vs Wildcard 2026: Picking Tools for Ecommerce Clients

Marketplace agents, the Shopify store, or owned content: how we decide between Promptwatch, Ranketta, Wildcard, and Azoma for ecommerce clients, and when two of them belong together.

Ecommerce clients often open with the same question: which AI visibility tool should we buy? Our first reply is another question. Where does the sale happen when an AI assistant recommends you?

There are three common answers, and each points at a different tool on this list. If the sale closes inside Amazon or Walmart, the retailer's own shopping agent is the battleground. If it closes on the client's Shopify store, the product and collection pages are. If it starts with a buyer researching in ChatGPT and landing on a guide or comparison page, the owned content is. We run our client GEO programs on Promptwatch, and for the third case it is the whole answer. For the first two, it often needs a partner.

Our order

  1. Promptwatch
  2. Ranketta
  3. Wildcard
  4. Azoma

That is our general ranking. For an individual client the right pick depends entirely on where the sale happens, and the sections below are organised around that.

The thing that makes this group confusing: "Amazon" means something different in each

Three of these four tools mention Amazon, and none of them mean the same thing by it.

Azoma tracks Amazon's shopping assistant directly. It calls it Alexa for Shopping, the name Amazon gave Rufus on 13 May 2026, and it also optimises for Amazon COSMO, the product knowledge graph behind it. Wildcard lists Alexa+ Shopping as a tracked surface and, separately, Amazon Rufus in beta. Since Amazon renamed Rufus in May, ask Wildcard exactly which Amazon surface its beta covers. Ranketta connects to Amazon and Walmart as catalogue sources and offers Alexa as a premium add-on model, not a base model. Promptwatch does not track Amazon's or Walmart's assistants at all. It tracks ChatGPT Shopping on Business.

When a client says "we need Amazon coverage", we check which of those four meanings they need before anyone books a demo.

Promptwatch: owned content and the brand site

This is the platform we run programs on, and the reason is that it shows the full chain from prompt to revenue on the client's own domain. Prompts are tracked across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Llama, DeepSeek, Mistral, Copilot, AI Overviews, and AI Mode. Citation analytics shows which pages, Reddit threads, and YouTube videos the engines cite. Agent Analytics reads AI crawler logs from the client's CDN, so we can see whether ChatGPT's or Claude's crawler fetched a new buying guide before it started getting cited. And because the visitor script (or the GTM template, for clients who prefer it) logs conversions, we can tell a client how many orders came from AI referrals, not just how many sessions.

Content Agents plan and write the guides and comparison pages that buyers land on, then publish to Webflow, Framer, or WordPress after review. For ecommerce clients we usually look at Business at $579/mo, because that is where Shopping Insights for ChatGPT Shopping, Ads Radar, and the automated Content Agent sit. Essential at $95/mo and Professional at $245/mo cover monitoring and crawler logs for smaller stores.

Promptwatch does not publish to Shopify product pages. That is where the next two tools come in.

Ranketta: SKU tracking and catalogue enrichment, priced in euros

Ranketta's pitch is "Become the product AI recommends." It tracks which SKUs win recommendations in AI answers and rewrites thin titles, descriptions, and attributes with a confidence score. A Content studio drafts listicles, comparisons, and guides. It has MCP tools on every store plan, a Looker Studio export, and logs AI-bot visits through Cloudflare.

Store pricing starts at €29/mo for Tracker (2 models, 30 prompts per model, 1 country, daily refresh). Starter at €79/mo adds enrichment and 2 articles a month. Growth at €199/mo has 4 models, 100 prompts per model, and 3 countries. Scale is €449/mo. Agency plans run €149 to €599, with Agent Mode on agency Starter at €299. There is a 7-day trial.

Its named connector list is the longest of the four, and the only one with Central European marketplaces: Shopify, Shoptet, Adobe Commerce, Wix, BigCommerce, Amazon, Walmart, Heureka, and Zboží.cz. One caution: Ranketta's compare pages quote €89 to €249 while checkout starts at €29, so confirm the plan before you budget.

Wildcard: the Shopify store, measured to the order

Wildcard, from Y Combinator's W25 batch, syncs the catalogue from Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce, or a PIM, then runs buyer questions with real search volume each week across ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews, Perplexity, Claude, Walmart Sparky, and Alexa+ Shopping. Each answer is stored with the products named, their rank, and the sources cited.

Its strongest feature for us is attribution. It reports AI referral sessions, add-to-carts, checkouts, and revenue per AI platform, with first-click and last-click views. Actions include PDP optimisation, collection pages, schema enrichment, blog posts, and Reddit drafts, published to Shopify after approval.

Basic is $99/mo with 10 actions, 50 prompts, 20 products, and a weekly refresh. Tracking and the visibility audit cost no credits. Content actions cost 100 credits each, drafts 50, and credit packs are $100 for 1,000 or $250 for 4,000, with no expiry. API and data export are Enterprise only.

Azoma: marketplace agents at enterprise scale

Azoma is built for brands with large Amazon and Walmart catalogues. It tracks Alexa for Shopping, Amazon COSMO, Walmart Sparky, and Lazada LazzieChat, plus ChatGPT Shopping and other LLM apps, at brand, category, and SKU level. It enriches product data and publishes into Seller Central, Vendor Central, Salsify, and Shopify. Answer Integrity flags inaccurate product claims in AI answers, and revenue attribution runs to SKU level.

Its named customers are mostly global consumer goods companies: L'Oréal, Unilever, Mars, Procter & Gamble. Pricing is custom, with an agency plan, and no figures are published. Azoma reports a 14x increase in ChatGPT site traffic for Ruroc. That is Azoma's number, not ours.

Which tool for which client

  • Brand selling mainly on its own domain, with a content team: Promptwatch. Add Wildcard or Ranketta if product pages are the weak spot.
  • Shopify store that wants product pages fixed and revenue proven per AI platform: Wildcard, with Promptwatch for the editorial content and crawler side.
  • European store on Shoptet, Heureka, or a multi-platform setup: Ranketta.
  • CPG brand where Amazon and Walmart close most of the revenue: Azoma, with Promptwatch for the brand site.

Where we land

No tool on this list covers all three places a sale can happen. The one we start every ecommerce client on is Promptwatch, because the guides, comparisons, and category content that AI assistants cite live on the client's own domain, and that is where we need crawler logs, citation sources, and conversions to show what changed. Product-page and marketplace tools come in once that baseline shows where the gap is. Start with Promptwatch.
