Promptwatch vs Citeme 2026
We operate Promptwatch on retainers. Citeme is a Paris quota plus a 59 € login. We un-merge the row before we quote.
Clients paste both logos into one spreadsheet row because Citeme sells a GEO dashboard and published a Promptwatch review (27 August 2026, 4.0/5, "direct competitor"). We un-merge before we quote.
Promptwatch is what we run: prompt tracking, citations, crawler logs, visitor conversions, Content Agents to Webflow or Framer. Citeme is a Paris agency (Mekaa, 229 rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, contact@citeme.fr) with a 59 €/mo platform and team SKUs at 690 / 1,190 / 2,590 € excl. VAT. Same vs-query. We would not put a client on the 59 € tile as the system of record. We measure on Promptwatch.
We already write GEO. We would not replace that work, or Promptwatch, with a 1,190 € piece quota.

Business $579, Growth $399, Scale $799 stay on the rate card we already send. Content Agents stay our publish path. We do not pause them for Citeme's 2-6 week signal window.
If the client wants Citeme to own GEO and us to "add Promptwatch on the side," we will do the measurement. We will not write a second monthly narrative that restates their 4-8 leads tile.
How we decide on a call
Need logs, citation grain, conversions, CMS drafts: Promptwatch. Need extra French hands on Reddit and PR for a quarter, and they already signed Citeme: we can live with it. Need to replace us and Promptwatch with 59 €: we decline the premise.
Profound is a different Enterprise conversation. Otterly.AI and Peec AI stay off the stack even when Citeme's old blog argues with Peec.
Verdict
Same query, two purchases. We run Promptwatch. We might tolerate Citeme labor we did not sell. We would not swap the login for 59 € or the retainer for 1,190 €. Product we operate: promptwatch.com.

We will not recommend that. Their quota is pages. Our QBR is logs, citations, and conversions.

We note the date and the conflict. We do not change Essential from $95 or five articles.
Is 59 € cheaper than Essential?
On sticker, in euros, yes. Caps unpublished, then read-only. Essential publishes 50 prompts, 6,000 responses, visitor events. We buy the published meter.
