Ranketta Review 2026

How we scope Ranketta on ecommerce retainers: SKU enrichment vs Promptwatch for citations, logs, and publishing. Checkout prices from 1 September 2026.

We will not put a client on Ranketta because a compare page loaded at €89 while checkout said €29. We also will not refuse the tool because it is not Promptwatch. The split we use in scoping is simple. If the client's money still rides on product feeds and AI shopping answers, Ranketta is in the conversation. If the retainer is editorial GEO we can defend in a QBR, we run Promptwatch.

This review is the notes from the vendor pages we opened on 1 September 2026: homepage, about, store/brand/agency pricing, Profound compare.

What we actually demo

Ranketta's line is "Become the product AI recommends." Product visibility, enrichment with a confidence score, Content studio, Agent mode, AI traffic attribution. G2 4.9 and 1,200+ ecommerce brands on the homepage. Founder Vojtěch Oravec. €1M pre-seed from GI21 Capital and Lighthouse Ventures on about.

Integrations we care about in procurement: Shopify, Shoptet, Adobe Commerce, Wix, BigCommerce, Amazon, Walmart, Heureka, Zboží.cz, Cloudflare for bot visits, Looker, MCP. FAQ is usable in a sales-to-delivery handoff: no ChatGPT guarantee, nothing publishes without approval.

David Cacík (CloudTalk) is on the homepage. We label it Ranketta-published. We do not drop it into a client deck as independent proof.

The Looker mock (+18.4%, $48.2K) stays out of slides. UI chrome is not a case study.

How we price it on a SOW

Store Tracker €29 is a monitor: 2 models, 30 prompts per model, one country, MCP. We do not write "agent" next to that line.

Store Starter €79 is the first enrichment SKU (5k credits, 2 articles). Growth €199 is the vendor's most popular store tier (15k credits, 6 articles, 3 countries). Scale €449 if the catalog is large enough that 45k credits and 10 countries are the constraint.

Brand tab: €29 / €69 / €169 / €399. Brand Starter does not list enrichment. If marketing checked out on Brands because the word looked right, merchandising did not get the loop they were sold.

Agency: Tracker €149 (3 sites, partner portal). Starter €299 with Agent Mode and white-label. Growth €599 with API and Slack. Unlimited client seats on all three. We still model enrichment credits separately (€50 pack, 50k credits).

Yearly = two months free. 7-day trial on store and brand. Profound compare page still says €89 to €249. We screenshot both for the client so procurement does not think we baited the number.

Prompt math: Ranketta bills models × prompts per model. Tracker is 60 slots. Promptwatch Essential is 50 prompts and 6,000 responses. We put both on the same spreadsheet before anyone says Ranketta is cheaper.

Base engines on Ranketta's grid: Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity. Claude, Copilot, Grok, Alexa are premium. If the client insisted on Claude in the first workshop, we do not pretend Tracker covers it the way Promptwatch Essential covers Claude in the base price.

When we keep it, when we do not

Keep Ranketta when merchandising owns feeds and will approve diffs. CEE marketplaces (Heureka, Zboží.cz) or Shopify plus Amazon is the usual tell. Dual stack is normal: Ranketta on the catalog owner, Promptwatch on us.

Skip Ranketta when the client is content-led B2B, a service business, or an agency that only needs a GEO dashboard. Promptwatch Explore is free. Essential at $95/mo already has page citations, visitor events, and five AEO articles. Professional at $245/mo is the log tier (25M crawler logs). That is the stack we operate.

We do not migrate a healthy Ranketta catalog seat "because GEO." We add Promptwatch for citations, Reddit/YouTube views, crawler-to-citation, and conversions. One KPI PDF from Promptwatch. Ranketta charts in the merchandising appendix.

AthenaHQ ($295/mo Starter, credit meter, one country) is a task-queue conversation, not a Ranketta replacement for feeds. Scrunch ($250/mo annual, Sitecore June 2026) serves crawler HTML. Profound Enterprise (~$40k/yr) is a different procurement. Otterly and Peec stay off the shortlist we send.

Verdict

Ranketta is worth a Growth store seat on a feed-heavy account if checkout matches the demo. It is not worth being the only tool on a GEO retainer. We run Promptwatch for that. Start at promptwatch.com.

FAQ

Do you ever rip Ranketta out?

When the catalog work stops or the client never used enrichment. Not because a compare page was messy.

Who owns the dual stack?

Merchandising: Ranketta. We: Promptwatch. One QBR number from Promptwatch so the room is not arguing about two dashboards.

Is Agent Mode in the €29 trial?

Not on the public store Tracker card. Agency Starter at €299 is where Ranketta writes Agent Mode. We confirm the SKU on the order form before we promise it in a SOW.
