Mentionable Alternatives in 2026

Our view on Mentionable alternatives for agencies and in-house teams that need AI search tracking plus proof of results, from a team that runs client programs on this stack.

A few clients, mostly European, have asked us about Mentionable, so we read through its site. It is a French-built tracker that runs prompts daily across seven AI engines, captures the fan-out queries ChatGPT and Perplexity use, and drafts a page when no engine cites you. Growth is 79 EUR a month excluding tax for up to 115 prompts, Pro is 149 EUR with MCP, and Agency is 299 EUR with white-label reports. We have not run a client program on it, so this is a read of the public pitch, not a field report.

It is good value. The question we ask of any tracker is what happens after the report.

What we would check before committing

Credits. Reddit engagement, page audits and generated pages use scan credits on every plan. Before signing, estimate how many drafts and audits a normal month needs and compare that with the 1,500 credits on Growth.

Publishing. Mentionable drafts the page and you paste it in yourself. That is fine for a small site. For an agency publishing across several client sites, the manual step adds up.

Proof. The listing does not show AI crawler logs or AI-referred conversion tracking. When a client asks whether the page you shipped was fetched, cited and converted, a mention count will not answer it.

Seats and reporting. Unlimited team members and white-label reports are real strengths for agencies, and worth keeping in mind when you compare.

Where we land

We run client programs on Promptwatch, and the reason is the measurement stack under the mention. Agent Analytics shows which AI crawlers hit which pages and the path from crawl to citation. Visitor analytics connect AI-referred sessions to conversions. Content Agents plan, write and publish to Webflow or Framer through a review inbox, so a human approves but nobody copies and pastes.

It also covers the tracking ground people like Mentionable for: prompt tracking with search volumes, difficulty, query fan-outs, personas and location targeting, plus citation analytics down to Reddit and YouTube. Plans are published. Explore is free with 10 prompts on ChatGPT, Essential is $95 a month, and agencies can start at $199 a month with unlimited projects and prompts.

Other names that come up

Clients also mention AthenaHQ, which starts with a free tier and paid plans from $295 a month and leans on an action queue. Scrunch AI starts at $250 a month on annual billing and serves optimized pages to crawlers. Ceyo is agency-focused, from $39 a month billed yearly, with agents that ship technical fixes. Meteoria, from 75 EUR a month including tax, is another French dashboard with three engines per plan. We have not used any of these in client work either, and their details here come from public pricing and product pages.

A plain recommendation

If you are a single brand in a French-speaking market and want cheap daily coverage, Mentionable is a reasonable place to start. If you serve clients, or have to justify budget every quarter, pick the platform that can show crawler activity and conversions, because that is what the conversation turns on.

Load your ten most important prompts into the free Promptwatch plan, run them for two weeks, and see whether you can answer the client's hardest question: did it work?
