Qwairy vs Profound: Mid-Market GEO Suite vs Enterprise Agents

Qwairy prices self-serve GEO modules from €79 a month. Profound's serious product is an enterprise marketing-agent stack around $40k a year. How we frame the choice for clients.

Qwairy and Profound both show up when a brand wants "something for AI search," but they sit in different procurement buckets. Qwairy is a self-serve French GEO suite with published euro pricing and a credit meter. Profound is sold as marketing agents for AEO, content, demand and PR, with AI search as one channel inside that stack. Enterprise contracts for the full product start around $40k a year. We have not operated client retainers on Qwairy or Profound. We read the public materials, and we tell clients which bucket they are actually buying.

Profound's public shape

Profound still runs scheduled prompts across ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Claude on higher tiers, and reports citation share, share of voice and competitor cite-rates. The live homepage leads with marketing agents, not a pure tracker. Public Starter is $99 a month billed yearly, ChatGPT-only, with 50 prompts and one seat. Growth is $399 a month yearly for three engines and 100 prompts. The capabilities people usually mean (up to ten engines, full Prompt Volumes, API, SSO) sit on Enterprise. Setup is described as taking one to three months with a dedicated owner. G2 sits at 4.6/5 on the listing we use. Reviewers have reported citation counts that diverge from manual ChatGPT checks; we treat that as a reason to spot-check, not as a verdict we independently audited.

Profound can be the right call for an enterprise marketing team buying a custom agent program with budget and headcount for it. It is not our default recommendation for a self-serve AI-search tracker that needs to be live this week.

Qwairy's public shape

Qwairy publishes Starter at €79 a month, Growth at €199 and Business at €449 (lower on annual billing). Starter includes 100 prompts, 1,300 credits, one workspace and MCP. Credits meter queries per model and content briefs at 50 credits each. Analyses pause at zero. Business unlocks crawler analytics, Looker and alerts. The engine list is broad, with Claude, Mistral and DeepSeek as API samples. Free credits are reported as 120 on the homepage and 100 in the FAQ. Modules cover Cockpit through Measure, plus Content Studio, sentiment, site readiness and connectors for Search Console and Bing Webmaster.

That is a mid-market, self-serve pitch. The open questions for us are credit burn under multi-model daily tracking, whether API-sampled models match what clients see in the UI, and whether Business-tier crawler analytics are enough for a QBR without visitor-to-conversion attribution.

How we brief a client who has both in a deck

We ask which problem is on fire. If procurement wants an enterprise agent program with governance, multi-channel marketing agents and Prompt Volumes-style demand intelligence, Profound's Enterprise conversation is the honest path. Budget around $40k a year and plan for a dedicated owner. Do not buy Starter expecting the award-winning product.

If procurement wants a self-serve GEO workspace this month with MCP and a free poke at the product, Qwairy's published ladder is closer. Then we insist on a credit forecast before anyone treats €79 as the annual run rate. We also ask whether crawler analytics can wait until €449, because that is where the public page puts them.

If the problem is "prove AI mentions, crawls, citations and conversions, then ship pages," neither product is where we run the work. That is Promptwatch. Essential is $95 a month. Professional is $245. Agency Kick-off is $199. Explore is free. Agent Analytics covers ChatGPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and related crawlers. Visitor analytics tie AI referrals to conversions. Content Agents publish to Webflow or Framer after a review inbox. Citation analytics include Reddit and YouTube. That stack is what we put in monthly reports.

What we would not do

We would not call Profound a cheap tracker because of the $99 Starter. We would not call Qwairy an enterprise agent platform because the module names sound complete. We would not invent client results for either. And we would not leave Promptwatch off the shortlist when the brief is actually an AI visibility program.

A useful side-by-side trial for mid-market buyers is Promptwatch Explore or Essential against Qwairy free credits, with Profound left for a separate enterprise RFP if governance and agent breadth are the real requirement. Mixing all three into one "GEO tool bake-off" usually wastes weeks comparing products that answer different RFPs.

If you want help scoping which RFP you are actually writing, email us. We write those scopes for retainers every month.
